Our Story
1922. Greece is facing the worse catastrophy of its modern history. Among millions of Greek Ionian refugees, one family from Kalfas outside Constantinople arrive in Pireus receiving their family name from their grandfather's name: Theodore's son - Theodorou.
After painstaking efforts the elder son, Theodore, opens the first store of the family in 1936 in Sofokleous street in the commercial heart of Athens. Nikolaos, the younger brother soon joins the company.
During the German occupation and the following Civil strife the shop is destroyed twice, but the two brothers manage to restore and reopen it.
1959. Greece starts to recover from WWII and the civil strife and Athens is changing. Theodorou brothers follow the vibes of the market and relocate in a new store in Patision street opposite the first department store of Athens.
1961. Theodorou brothers leave behind the demolished building of Sofokleous street alongside the old commercial centre focusing to the future with zest.
90s. The management of the company passes to the second generation, also siblings, who lead the company to the future by introducing to the Greek market several premium quality shoemaker brands.
2010. The first e-shop of Greece exclusively for men’s shoes becomes reality by the 3rd generation of the family.
Lately, the 3rd generation made a fresh start by opening a new boutique store in Kolonaki - in the heart of Athens,
